All to often I hear people say, ” Times are different, The Word (Bible) doesn’t really apply to today”  My response is, ” That statement is so untrue. Yes, we have advanced in how we operate in the Word, in our sharing of the Word visually with technology, & we use different words (packaging) to get the same point across but, none the less the message (the Word)  is the same.  We just have media, the internet, twitter and such revealing old ways in new packaging – in other words new marketing techniques & God forbid the any of these should acknowledge where these ” new trends” began” – in the beginning – The Word. If you took the time to read “the Bible” you would see how mankind just repeats life in cycles regenerating & ” recycling” the Word and the Earth that we have been given. If you will follow my site & give me the opportunity, I will show you how The Word is still Alive and applies to ” today’s Daily Living” . ” After all, that is my heart’s desire & the purpose of this website..my God given purpose actually, is to Read and Proclaim (share) with mankind how The Word Does still apply & works when you work it. And don’t fret, you can work it within the trendy packaging. (smile). You don’t have to be a Bible thumpin’ geek to live and apply His Word. And trust me, You are the one that will benefit from the knowing of The Word and workin’ it.  You will grow in a healthy love of yourself and others as yourself, (including the Earth) instead of a selfish love of Self which results in the damage of others. Know this: The seed – the core is the same today and throughout time just as the parable in Luke 21: 29-36 states: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. As soon as they come out   in leaf, you see for yourselves and know that the summer is already near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all has taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

This said, let’s move into a today “trend” – Organic eating & Living. This isn’t something new. In fact it began in the beginning with the Master Gardener of Heaven, God creating the first Organic Garden ” Eden” here on Earth. As said in The Word.. ” Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after it’s kind…and it was good. (Genesis 1:11-12) Now He didn’t create the Earth just to grow and look pretty as without love and care it would not continue to thrive and bear good fruit. So, as in Heaven, He said, ” Let US make man in Our image,  after our likeness, and let them have dominion over all the Earth” (Gen 1:26)  So there you have it – the 1st Organic garden and the 1st Organic Gardeners on Earth, Adam and Eve.  This began in the beginning, and has repeated itself throughout time, it has not changed…I could name many repeater times in history but, I will mention just one many still remember, my time – the Hippie movement, we were all about Love of All things, doing things the “natural ” way and many of today’s ” new trends” once again are just the hippie “trend” (Adam and Eve’s trend) repeated with new packaging and wording. BTW, much of ” today’s trend” is not new at all – not even in the packaging, it’s just today’s generation doesn’t remember the everything of the hippie generation. Another interesting tidbit to take note of: We, the hippies are Now part of recreating this “new organic trending ” and this time we are making sure we don’t loose sight of the original purpose, like we did back in the day getting lost in drugs, that purpose being the same then, as today; Love thyself, thy neighbor, eat “organic” live all natural only this time within moderation & keeping a job. LOL –  BTW, that getting lost isn’t new either…read the Bible you will see where good intentions and new beginnings went off track over and over. You see how Now God has placed it on the hearts of todays generation to revive the Earth as it was “in the beginning ” (God’s plan then & still is) Unfortunately, overall people don’t want to admit it or seek the Originator, God’s master plan so it works to it’s highest good. I am not saying we have to run around preaching the word in it’s original text but, I am saying give ” props where props are due” and seek Him in the Revival of what Your inner Spirit is telling you..We, mankind do still have dominion & must still care for and take care of this gift, the Garden of Eden on Earth, If we expect it to continue to bear good fruit and abundant harvest to nourish us and provide our needs. That said, doesn’t it make sense we need to seek the Best advise there is on proper care of all Creation? And where is that?  It’s ” in the Book”. Forget about all the Religions created by Man..just read the book for yourself,  for the guidance that will be revealed to YOU. ..you will see for yourself. Of course you can read my posts & others with tools and tips but, it is really best to read the master plan for yourself. I am not coming from Religion I am coming from a place of ” living the Word and workin’ it with all the great tools within it”. In my seeking of Living Life to it’s best..I have read and studied many religions finding the foundations are ALL basically the same… foundations of Love and survival and how to do just that. However, I must Testify & Proclaim, the Word written in the Bible, does carry the Most valuable and detailed tips on ‘living” a Successful Life full of Love, Mercy, Joy, and a long list of other Life sustaining tools, including how to treat the Earth, that it will yield it’s best harvest. (both within my inner garden and the outer garden on Earth) That is why I refer to it the most. Because I have found the teachings of God, the Father, Holy Spirit, Mother and Yeshua, my Brother (my BFF)  (Old & New Testaments) Words do Not pass away and ” His Word works when I choose to work it”.  Yes, I enjoy many of today’s new packaged ways, the new equipment to help (like this site), & yes we can put “the Word” & what the Earth yields in nice packaging and market our yields leaving the “Truth” out of the wording of where it began but, we can’t remove the “fact” this is not a new concept…it was already written ” in the Book”.  If you read Genesis you will see the purpose of all things; the flowing rivers, the purpose of the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, and so on..and that we Man were Give dominion and only we Man can give that dominion away through our choices. Don’t be an Adam and Eve choosing to ice God out & listen to the deceiver of all times.(today’s media) And while you’re at it Notice: even though, Adam and Eve made the choice to dabble where they shouldn’t have – into matters they were not mature enough to handle or that were damaging to life; God was there (and is for us too – Now) to show the Way to pick themselves (yourself) up and work the Earth that you (they) once again would (will)  have dominion of: their inner & outer garden here on Earth. And once again You & Earth Can (will) bear good fruit and ALL things needed to Live on Earth as it is in Heaven…a beautiful garden of Eden. (which is promised in the book)  Is this not what todays “new agers” are seeking & trying to do ? Revive the Earth (Eden) In their going Organic, living the “natural” way of life, creating beautiful gardens and Sustainable living. Is that not the goal? with all the healthy living, meditating on Good Things, striving to save the planet, recycling, growing & sharing in learning to Love thy self and they neighbor?  Hmmmm…yes the wording is different (new packaging) but, fact is these words have already been said as stated above and by Yeshua when he stated the 2nd greatest commandment: ” Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. ( with The 1st commandment being love the Lord, God  with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. – on these 2 hang all the laws (guidance) of the prophets) Matt. 22: 37-40.

Ok Enough for today, my point is made…may the hearer of these words have ears to hear, eyes to see and may those reading seek ” God with all your heart, mind, and soul.” knowing God’s word does apply yesterday, today, and tomorrow bringing Life on Earth as it is in Heaven… it’s a seed promise written ‘in the Book” that will never die.

Yogurt Popsicles

1 cup plain yogurt, 1 banana, sliced, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup fruit juice or fruit chunks.

Directions: Blend ingredients together ( I use my Bullet, quick! ) and pour into small paper cups. Put in the Freezer.  When Half frozen place a plastic spoon or a Popsicle stick in each cup.  To serve, turn the cup upside down and run hot water over it till the popsicle slips out.  (it only takes a moment or you can just peel off the paper cup)  If you did the hot water method, Keep your cups as a holder…the little ones are sometimes slow on eating their popsicles and you can drop it back in the cup and finish it off with your spoon.  In a hurry, you can buy drinkable yogurt and freeze it the same way.

Hello All ! Another morning where God tapped my spirit with info to share ! The main point of my posts are to show how the Word is applicable to our Daily Lives NOW & ways to incorporate His Word in our daily lives – NOW. Anyway, God tapped me saying, ” you need to focus more on the simple things of Daily Living.” I thought, ” what do you mean? I thought I was.”  Then as I went on about my daily living enjoying my Saturday Sabbat poolside,       I heard myself telling a neighbor how 20 mins of sun a day is good for you & that lack of God’s “natural sunlight” is how people end up low on Vitamin D. Now back to the Vitamin D:  Based on scientific findings: The most natural way to get vitamin D is by exposing your bare skin to sunlight (ultraviolet B rays). This can happen very quickly. You don’t need to tan or burn your skin to get vitamin D. You only need to expose your skin for around half the time it takes for your skin to turn pink and begin to burn. How much vitamin D is produced from sunlight depends on the time of day, where you live in the world and the color of your skin. The more skin you expose the more vitamin D is produced.  Personally, I love sitting out in the sun so I am one of those who has to remind myself ” not to much now. ” As Aristotle commonly said;            ” Moderation in all things”. And don’t forget what God had to say on moderation: “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient”    1 Corinthians 6:12  All through His Word it is made clear God intended for all things living to ” let His Light shine on them.” Both within and without. Genesis 1: 3-4  And God said, ” Let there be light” and there was light and Light was good & He separated light from darkness. 1 Thessaloians 5:5 “You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness”.  See , He is the Creator of physical light, as well as the Giver of spiritual light, both by which we can see the truth. Not into His Word you say, even those of a scientific mind can’t dispute the Facts that prove we & the very Earth (our Kingdom) must have Light (the sun) to survive. Come on now, You think this is a fluke? Seriously.. I move on.  Yet like my Mom, many have been told, ” you should stay out of the sun ” She stayed inside so much she was very depressed and unfortunately when she told she was lacking Vitamin D, (in her 80s ) and she should get out and get some sun, she was already so brainwashed with this lie, she didn’t believe the new young Dr. It is such a simple truth, ” a little Sunlight – it’s good for you.”

So, today and everyday IF possible get out there & ” Soak UP a Little LIght ” both inside with His Word and OUT in the Sun. There are so many things you can do outdoors in most every season. At work – Eat your lunch outside – get out and get some air. Talk a little walk – then you are honoring your body with needed exercise. Go wwimming, boating, camping, or just relax by the pool, at the ocean, by the lakes & waterfalls or just kick back in your yard or on your patio. Hey, that’s a good time to kill 2 birds with one stone..Relax outdoors while reading His Word.  Live where the winter is rough & dark ? – Get an Ott Light. http://www.ott-lite.com/   Ok. I think I have made my point & listened to God’s advise with this post on a “simple” daily living matter that is a benefit to us ALL…hey, I am loving my neighbor as myself too ! Love IT!

Shabbat Shalom!

Are you a planner?  I know I am. For years I have even kept journals of my 1 yr, 3 yr, and 5 yr. plans. Then each new year I review and check off what I have accomplished and tweek my plans because Life happens and I find my best laid plans were made to be broken. Over the years the Holy Spirit has tapped me saying, ” worry about nothing, I’ve got your back.”  My response being, ” Ok But I like having a plan, it is not doubt. I tell myself & others, goals and plans are a good thing. ( this true IF you have sought God and He has revealed the foundation of His plan for you to you.) Then I would hear the whisperer of Lies say, “besides you need a Plan B in case Plan A doesn’t work – and don’t forget Plan C I mentioned,as a last resort of course. LOL ”   Can you see what that is saying? Short and simple, I am saying I have a lack of trust and need my own Plan.  Until this morning, I closed my eyes & heart to that Truth. I shoved it away telling myself, ” that isn’t true, I Trust God with all my heart.  Hello!  How silly my Plan A excuse sound now. Wanna know what tapped me so hard as to stimulate this post?  His Word of course. I am now in the New Testament in my journey of reading the Bible all the way thru and His Spirit spoke to my spirit loud and clear as I read Matthew 6:24-31. These are the verses telling us to take no thought to what we are going to eat, wear, drink cause just as God cares for the fowls of the air and the flowers in the fields how much more will He care for us. Verse 30 being the kicker for me this day: “Wherefore, if Yahweh so clothe the grass of the field, which is today and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith. “

Almost immediately my words from just yesterday popped into my head & how I once Again had commented chuckling to a friend about ” gotta have Plan B ya know”  The light came on, as I heard Holy Spirit Mother say, “Stop sharing that Lie. It is a deadly weed that will choke out the seed of My Truth you are so intently reading. We have been trying to tell you & show you since the beginning of our journey, the seeds you plant within are the harvest you will reap. The 1st seeds you must plant Deep are Your Father in Heaven’s Words – these seeds are His Promises that come from my Heart! Then Trust Me they work when you work them and Will produce an abundant Harvest for YOU, our Child. Now as we continue on this journey, Listen closely and Follow your Brother, Yeshua (Jesus). Let’s look at where this Plan A, B, & last resort Plan C fabrication seed was first planted.”  It didn’t take much thought, I wanted to be sure I am never again homeless or even close to it. Yes, I have been homeless and I have lived in situations I don’t want to be in again. Doing things just so I wouldn’t be on the street, doing things I don’t ever want to do again just to have food and a roof over my head. Trust me it is WAY worse out there in the world of the homeless than what we see on TV or looking out from our homes. The Spirit revealed, this is a baseless OLD FEAR that Is over. You are allowing Satan to still use it  & clearly a weed within my inner garden still holding me in bondage.. Praise God, the Master Gardner &  Crew showed up this morning to help me unwind & pull out that long deep routed weed. It has taken hours, but I can feel it,  I AM FREE of that fear. Hallelujah, in it’s place I can feel new seeds of Joy and Trust – a Peace within the garden of my heart and mind. I find myself Laughing at how silly I have been. It was MY choice of “doing it my way” and being rebellious & shutting God out that had me homeless in the 1st place. I was really pissed with God back then. (read my book for more on that) As I look back at when we first started pulling all the weeds within my inner Garden, I am reminded  of all the times the Master Gardner and His Crew have shown up to help me pull some very nasty weeds.  Also of the times I ran them off, saying, ” I got this – since no-one seems to understand.” Right now I realize how much time I spent in the research of my planning – not to mention the weed seeds of  worry & anxiety I shared within the gardens of my family & friends. For that I sincerely apologize. And I Praise God for friends who encouraged me not to worry, for my daughters who said, “Mom stop being silly, where is that Faith you are always talking about? Life has not been like that for 30 plus years”   Praise God, my focus wasn’t all on my Plans &  along the seeds of His Plan & the seeds of passion for His Word have continued to grow and develop.  A few of those seeds are: Truly Loving & Seeking Him, walking & talking with Him, learning the history and cultures of times past and current, The Way to “Live” in His Design “Daily”, enjoying the beauty of His creation here in His Kingdom He gave us on Earth, sharing His Love & so much More with my Neighbor. So, today the Plan A, Plan B, and that last resort Plan C (which was if all else fails commit a crime and go to jail – at least I wouldn’t be on the street)         Are Trashed !  

Yep today, the weeds are gone, my eyes are clear to see and my ears do hear loud & clear the family of God sharing these Words:  “ Stop your planning already, remember always, I sent your brother to bring you back home to the finest city in America, Again I might add. I have provided enough work, the perfect home at Casa Vallecitos active over 55 senior community & Notice how your stuff fit perfectly, your needs are met and Many of your wants. This is where I want you to be!     I AM on time all the time, & ” The Best Plan A is My Way, it’s In the Book, it Breaks the chains that Bind & All Anyone has to do is pick it up, Seek &  Follow the Plan (in all you do) then watch your garden grow & reap the harvest. You know this: It Works when you work it. So, Do Not get slack again cause weeds can come back.. We are to be One growing in the attributes of My Love… in This house. I thought, WoW I really went to far. Next I heard the still quiet voice of the Holy Spirit Mother’s pressing words, ” Really Renee’ , can you not see sharing those Plan A, Plan B conversations with your neighbors (friends) that only comes across as: ” O ye of little faith”? not to mention, how you come across to US, your family.” BAM! Her quiet but powerful Words right behind His really hit me.  As I sat, tears running down my face, my BFF, my Brother Yeshua (Jesus) embraced me saying, ” it was past time we got to the root of that weed & got it out of you. BTW, that chastisement was because they Love You.. like when you chastised your girls to Save them grief down the way. Remember?  Enough,  let’s get back to the Books and His Best Laid plan for you which is to Proclaim and Read. Stick to this and it will be all Good” 

Now my friends, I sincerely apologize the seeds my words threw at your garden & I pray they did Not take root.

I also pray, If the seeds of this post are tapping on the door of your spirit & you desire to Live the Best Plan A this life has to offer..I suggest (if you don’t already) Pick up His book and Seek Him, His Way, in All you do each Day. And I do mean that literally, it is great to read & listen to tools shared by others (like my posts) But, they are just that , extra tools…the only way to BE  all you were created to BE, in His Kingdom here on  Earth is:  Spend Time At HOME with God, the Father – Holy Spirit, Mother, and Jesus, our Brother (Hebrews 2:11 Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters) & when you “Seek  1st the Kingdom of God, and all His righteousness,, all these things shall be added unto you.” (verse 33)  In the worldly life we “expect  ‘ to have Personal relationships with those we Love and are hurt, even insulted if our Love and the relationship is not given time and taken” personal” . Where do you think the seed of this emotion comes from?  Lastly, I can Proclaim, (and my friends can testify as they have seen this happen in My life), when I get out of my way and obedient to ” in this house we Will serve & walk The Way your Father says” the results are:  growing in godliness to the perfection of who I was created to Be. Which in turn produces a Life where I Can live in Love, Comfort, Joy, & Peace as I  rest in the assurance of this promise, ” Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of these things (food, water, a Roof over your head) so therefore, take no thought for tomorrow, it shall take thought for the things of itself…..”  Instead of worry,  begin in the beginning of His Word, Dive in Listening to the Wisdom of The Word remembering as it says in Isaiah 43:18-19, ” Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”   I sign off with this:

Dear Friends, Life is a Gift not to be taken for granted. Life is a vapor – it can be here today and gone tomorrow. Remembering  ” Each Moment of life is All about Choices so, Choose Good Things” – Be Thankful for each day. Again: Enjoy the Blessings of each new day, living each day Thankfully – Gratefully, not living in the past or taking life for granted.  Shalom.

As Moms we are celebrated on Mother’s Day – it is like a National Holiday! As my beautiful daughters shared time with me it hit me , (hard I might add) without them there would be nothing to celebrate. In fact, I doubt I would even be here today if not for having my beautiful daughters. Like a saying I read recently, ” Somedays I look back on my life, and I am extremely impressed I am still alive.”  Yet here I am in part because of my being blessed with two beautiful girls. This took my mind to wondering;  So, why isn’t there a Designated ” Daughter Day” and ” Son Day ” like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.  I know, someone said there is a Kids day..that is not the same and who (without google) can tell me quick when that is?  How can we have a Mother’s and Father’s Day be so Special when without the children those days would not exist? Therefore, I vote – we vote to have a ” Daughter ” & ” Son’s ” day put on the Calendar officially and CELEBRATE it ! Does anyone know how to do that?   Until we can figure that out, I say each of us should at least ” create a date” within our own households and celebrate it each year Just as faithfully as we do Mother and Father’s Day. Just as we parents love our children honoring and celebrating us – don’t you think our children would love to be honored and celebrated too? Who really doesn’t Love to have Love shared & to be Acknowledged …it is an awesome feeling.

I know I, & Most of you have hearts so Full of Love for your children. There are no words really to express the Joy they bring. Yes, there are times they seem to have no time for us, wander off, or maybe even leave us but, we still love them & they love us. It’s part of life’s toils & cultivating of the garden.. “it’s all in the book ya know” …Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.  Or read the story about the prodigal son Luke 15: 11-32 who left  & came home. Dad received him with open arms, lots of Love, and said, ” let’s have a party, my Lost son is home.” Great story…definitely worth reading.  There are actually lots of verses about children definitely worth reading. If you take the time to do just that it becomes clear, ” there should be a special day just for them too! Here’s one to make you think…. Matthew 18:6  “And anyone who commits an offense against one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for him that a donkey’s millstone be hung around his neck and he be sunk in the depths of the sea.”   Do you think we as parent’s are better than the children? Could it be an offense, celebrating ourselves and not the very ones that made us Mom’s and Dads? Hmmmm.. just sayin’ that is somethin’ to ponder.

One of my favs: Psalms 127:3 ” Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward from Him” ..   In my view I would say,  ‘ my little saviors from the Lord ” cause at the time I didn’t deserve a reward. What I ” Needed ” was Mercy and Love and He Gave me exactly what I needed, my girls and both ” right on time — all the time”. Little seeds of Mercy and Love which grew and grew becoming Beauty, Joy, Comfort, Compassion, and a whole long list of Thankfulness by me. And yes, that includes the tough years too. Now I look back, I am grateful – those times were really not bad at all. I know worse, ” Me ”  in my younger days. (I Blame it on the 60’s/70’s.. LOL ) Yep, Thank God they are smarter than Mom. And the best part : my two seeds blossomed into hybrid smart cookies and they just continue to grow!  Each adding more beauty to the family garden;  Grandchildren,  Great Sons in Law, cute doggies, wonderful plants, and who knows what in Seasons to come. I am oh SOOOOO Thankful !

So today, I post to encourage Moms and Dads everywhere to ” Create a Special Daughter and/or Sons Day”( not combined if you have both, as they are unique individuals who deserve their Own Day)  & I post to Honor and share my Love for my beautiful daughters Thanking them for such wonderful celebrations of Mother’s Day.

Now off I go, to email my girls and get suggestions for what Date they think would be best to ” create”  Their Special Day!

Let me begin by saying, the 1st amendment give each of us the Right to Freedom of Speech and to “peaceably” assemble in regards to our beliefs and standing up for them. Today I come in Peace standing on my right to Free Speech and my rights to Voice my opinion. That being said, I got a call from the American Justice League the other night voicing their opinion on our taxes paying for the Right to Choose and they proceeded to not only pass judgment but, passionately express ” We are seeking your donation to Stop the Killing of babies with our tax dollars”.  That really rubbed me wrong so I told him, ” Stop right there. 1st let me say I have No intention of donating to your cause. Now as far as my opinion on the Right to Choose & whether it is paid for with my tax $ or not, hear is my view. While I personally wouldn’t choose to have an abortion, I AM Pro Choice and Thankful for the physicians that Choose to ” SAFELY” perform this procedure.”  Now let me tell you why: When I was very young I was kidnapped, raped, brutally beaten and left for dead..No, I didn’t get pregnant that time, because my family Dr. gave me a pill that made sure if a baby was in the works it wouldn’t continue to form. But, this experience led me down an ugly path. You see I was told ” keep your mouth shut about this” and life goes on, as if nothing ever happened. This leaves a person sitting in shame because that is the way it is being presented, it was nasty and now you’re nasty too.” The next step on the road is self hate and seeking attention in all the wrong ways…you feel the only way a man wants anything to do with you is for sex. Anyway, I met a Loving, nice, caring young man…he a senior and me in 9th grade. I got pregnant and he wanted to take responsibility, marry me, and raise our child. I wanted that too. You can’t say I was to young, because clearly I wasn’t I was pregnant. God created me and when I would be able to conceive & He promises He will not put more on me than ” I ” can bear. Anyway, back to the point, my parents decided it was their right to Choose how My life would go forward. It was the early 70’s, they had to really hunt to find a Dr. but, they found one who would fix this problem!  And I was almost 6 months along…after an awful procedure I delivered and my son, yes was Killed. Once again, ” keep quiet, and I was kept from the young man who ultimately dropped acid and committed suicide.  Now 2 lives were gone, killed by my parents Choices. ” you will have to read my book to find out where the road led because of this Choice”  ( and No, I do not hate my parents – did for awhile but, God works all things out ) Now, you are wondering how can I be Pro Choice ? Because, as an adult, I am So thankful for the physician that had the strength and determination to have his clinic following his beliefs in the right to choose. Beats the heck out of coat hangers, castor oil, and god awful various other ways of abortion. These avenues lead to babies and the mothers dying, infections setting in, & young girls never able to have children again. Not to mention, the mental effects. Praise God, for that Dr. cause even though it was awful what happened to me, I was left physically healthy and able to have my 2 Beautiful daughters later in life who Literally saved me from the destruction of myself.

Now for another story, a young girl so hooked on crack cocaine she was sleeping in a field and doing whatever she had to for drug money, found she was pregnant. She couldn’t find anyone who would help her. I took her in and started making calls only to hear, ” we can help her off the drugs but, not if she is pregnant. Then I called the homes to help unwed mothers, only to hear, “we can help her but, only AFTER she gets off the drugs”  Called some Christian organizations, ” sorry, that is beyond our skill set. We will pray for her”  So, bottom line no one to help. I couldn’t keep her, I had No money and 2 girls to protect and take care of myself. Plus, I was working 2 jobs to support my household, someone need to be with her for at least a month while she got off the drugs. A doctor told her the baby would most likely be addicted if she carried to term. Why, because reality is: She was not going to stop the drugs pregnant or not without help. Once born, the baby would go into the foster care system. Now I ask you ” who do you think is paying for that ? ”  Our Taxes.  And more often that not, that child does Not have a warm and fuzzy story to tell of how thankful they are to be here. More often they are addicted, abused, raped, and off to prison they go or worse – they still end up dead. Not meaning to sound harsh, it is just a Fact !  And again I ask you, ” who is paying for that, Our Taxes. Yes, there are a handful of those who do rise above the odds and have Wonderful testimonies,  and of course those are the ones ” Pro Lifers” grab hold of, all the while Never sharing the higher % of stories with awful endings. Again, these are facts, not bagging on anyone. I get it & I know that road myself, I traveled it. It is the road of judgment &  “righteousness”. It is called  “Moral Lane ” preached in most Churches. Yep, I joined in on that song for a good while until I decided I was going to take my story and testify so maybe I could ” help ” save those young women and guide them to make the right choice. After  talking to various women and children whose Mom’s made the choice of pro life I learned I was ignorant and it isn’t always just that simple. It was the “truthful” larger percentage of awful stories in which   I learned, sometimes ” pro choice” maybe isn’t that simple & maybe not the best choice. Like the single parent Mom who finds out she is pregnant and is told neither she or the baby will make it if she has this baby. She already has 3 kids at home and no family by her side to support them. How many suffer in this situation? And who am I to tell her what she should do, who am I to judge? This one brought the memory of how AWFUL I thought it was that my parents made my Choice for me. Heck we didn’t speak for years. And now here I was acting just like them joining the bad wagon trying to tell a woman how she should Choose. Not to mention,  I realized the women who really want an abortion are going to get one! Period the end. And they suffer even more (and they are suffering) with our judgmental attitudes piled on top of their decision. Is that what Jesu calls us to do?  Doesn’t sound like Love & Mercy to me. We want it but, don’t want to give it. And God forbid we go back to the “good old days and make abortion illegal,  now we are back to a coat hanger or worse, Trust me ” our taxes” will pay out a whole lot more than the cost of an abortion by a good Dr. in a safe clinic after that coat hanger. After much thought  & research into the facts on this,  I prayed about it and heard Yeshua tell me, ” it is not your place to judge, it is your place to follow Me – giving Love, Mercy, & Compassion just like I gave you when you went so far off track. Remember.” That said, who are you to caste that stone? popped into my mind.  Remember, Matt.7: 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Romans 12:19 for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”   As I sat and had a chat with Jesus he revealed, ” all choices have consequences, good and bad & trust me the bondage that comes with wrong choices is far worse than any judgment I or You can pass. God’s judgment is what He determines is just. Mankind more often than not doesn’t know or care to know the whole story or see the Big picture. Instead he is just quick to judge on appearance alone. Only God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit Mother KNOW all the facts. That is why it is Not our place to Judge but, instead to Love and have Mercy just as the family of God has with us over and over again. I ask, Who of you are truly righteous enough to caste the 1st stone? ”  Killing by the way, comes in many forms. Think about it.  Death is not only in the body. Death of the spirit is much worse – the suffering is so much longer.

I learned and realized what we really need to fight for is better education in Daily living skills – education on the consequences of our choices. Not Preaching but, teaching the actual Loving ” Way of Jesus”.  To invest our money not into bigger fancier churches with sermons of judgment, tithe more money, or do it our way or the highway. Jesus didn’t have a Church Building he went and interacted with His neighbor, shared food, helped build homes, taught life skills, and the list goes on.  How about some of that tax money going toward facilities that can help the drug addicted pregnant Mom who chooses Not to have an abortion. Instead of spending time and money on fighting against the clinics create places that actually HELP! Instead of killing the Dr. practice what you preach. LIFE. Instead of Churches sitting empty with the doors locked more than half the week, take some of that tithe money and keep the doors open with life coaches, food, a shower, a place to sleep when it snows, or rains. Hmmmm sounds like “the Way” of Love and a hand of Hope. And no, those life coaches shouldn’t be volunteers. If you can afford flowers every week at the pulpit, new suits, and send aid (money & staff) to other countries;    how is it your neighbor is standing at a locked door and nobody’s there to answer? Jesus said, ” Knock and I will answer & He calls us, his representatives to follow His example – Answer the knocks. Love your neighbor.  How is it America’s children, of those who didn’t choose abortion are homeless, in foster care, and  crying out with no place to go. I can’t tell you of how many stories I have heard since Jesus tapped my door about ” judging”, where our suffering ” for whatever reason, Have reached out to the churches in their area and all they got was  ” judgment and/or a “word” of prayer.  That is Not all that is needed. The best one I heard was, “well, here in America they are not as appreciative”  That statement by a high up in a church says volumes..

I end my post with this:  I know you are saying ” Hallelujah”  – One of the things I do love about America is we do still have some level of ” the right to choose” in many things. Do I believe there should be limitations to what “our taxes” should pay for, Yes, One time on abortion coupled with contraceptive education and after that the $$ is on the individual..it is NOT a form of birth control or it shouldn’t be. (on our taxes)  I figure if our taxes pay for “testosterone injections” and they DO – why should men’s needs be covered and not women’s. Should an abortion be allowed after the 3rd month of conception..I don’t think so but, again who am I to judge? Plus, I am just a woman with a fair amount common sense and who loves God. I don’t have all the answers, only God does. I have some answers I know would work if ” we ” the children of God worked them….I do know to go back to the ” ole days” coat hanger method and such” is NOT the answer. And I do know mankind IS going to do what they Choose and no amount of hell fire damnation, hostility, judgment, or money collected is going to change that. So, we need to wake up and seek Jesus Way of handling the situation…and it was Not any of those I just mentioned.

Hi everyone!  Recently a friend had small kidney stones which put me on a search of what can be done to aid in the passing of these or better yet to aid in avoiding getting them period. I found some interesting info, I would share with You, my friends and neighbors.  It is things like this I find to be good forms of ” loving thy neighbor”.  Knowledge is Power ya know.

Ok, to help a kidney stone OUT…. try out some  Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey. Need a little more than honey to get that down: Try 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 lemon, and 1 tsp olive oil in 8 0z. of water..hmmmm good. LOL   Seriously,     Apple Cider vinegar is an amazing healer…Google it and you will be surprised at all it’s attributes. My Mother told me that years ago and of course then I had that attitude, ” that is that ole wives tale stuff”  Well, I should have listened, she was right !

If you think you just can’t or Won’t try that one, how about some Dandelion Tea or Dandelion greens in your salad. Just for a week. Hey just try it before you poo poo me.  Or you can take the simple way out & go to your health food store and pick up some Uva Ursi herbs. You say, Uva what? Now for tips in the prevention of painful kidney stones ever darkening your door; get into a habit of Drinking Water when we are thirsty. Pay attention to how many times you are actually thirsty and Don’t listen to your body and drink some water. I keep a 25 oz bottle handy and have been getting ” in tune ” with Me & when my body says, ” Hey, I am feelin’ like the desert. Just because there is a water shortage in Cali doesn’t mean I am where you cut back. “  Yes, my body and mind think they are comedians. LOL   Make sure you have magnesium in your diet. Good sources of this are: Broccoli, Black Beans, Pumpkin/Squash seeds, Spinach, and Okra.  Sounds like a tasty salad to me. Oh and pour a blend of the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and olive oil on top and the battle is now on !   Again, listen to your body. When things are getting out of order within; Our inner voice and our bodies do tell us: Warning, Warning Will Robinson. And how many times have we heard the warnings of: AVOID sugary things and Soda! Holds true in this case too.  And of course on the top of the list when it comes to helping our Kidneys out is: Avoid Stress and Exercise 30 mins. daily!!

Every time I look up those last two are in my face. Looks like, Along with the wise Words of my BFF, Jesus they are the best helpers in maintaining the Mind, Body, and Spirit !  On that note, I sign off for the night saying,                                                   ” In this house, we will dance, drink kombucha,(which I forgot to mention), eat salads, & allow my mind to relax in the world of pure nonsense with my fav night time drama: General Hospital ! Today I just want to share some of the Word from my little daily reading book, ” Jesus Calling”  and add a few words as well. Smile

As you walk with Yeshua (Jesus) through this day, practice trusting and thanking Me all along the way. Trust is the avenue through which My Peace flows into you. Thankfulness lift you up above your circumstances.  Yeshua does his greatest works in those with grateful, trusting hearts. Rather than planning and evaluating, practice Trusting and Thanking God continually. This practice will Revive, Restore, and Resurrection LIFE within you & without.

Did you know:

Most know that the Hebrew word shalom is understood around the world to mean “peace.” However, “peace” is only one small part of the meaning. “Shalom” is used to both greet people and to bid them farewell, and it means much more than “peace, hello or goodbye”….

Hebrew words go beyond their spoken pronunciation. Each Hebrew word conveys feeling, intent and emotion. Shalom is more then just simply peace; it is a complete peace. It is a feeling of contentment, completeness, wholeness, well being and harmony.

Philippians 2:15 talks about being a Light in the World just as Yeshua was a Light in this world – Lately, it seems I hear more grumbling and complaining than praising almost everywhere I go anymore. Reality TV including the “comedy” shows are just full of cutting one another down, yelling, disrespecting one another, and so on. Even some of the faith based programs.  And yes it is easy to get caught up in nonsense of it all… the pity party of Life. Don’t get me wrong, I have my moments too. Which is why I am doing this post. It is why I share and turn to theses verses on a regular basis; Phil 2:13-18 For God is carefully working in you both to desire and to do that thing which you desire *.14.Therefore, Do everything without complaining and without division, 15That you would be perfect and without blemish as purified children of God who dwell in a hard and crooked generation, and appear among them as lights in the world. 16For You are in the place of Life* to them, the day of The Messiah….from here I recommend you open and read all of Philippians. Smile

I read these verses often, because trials and tribes do come my way, almost daily. Ole Grumble and Complain do drive bys and all to often hit me hard. And Praise God, Holy Spirit “Wisdom” comes by quickly and shines her LIght on me singing, ” Reach Out and Lean on Me” That’s when I reach out to these verses to be reminded: God is working in me & most of all to remind to do “everything” without complaining and division. This is the Tough part of these verses…especially those times when mankind is grating your last nerve. LOL  Or maybe I am grating on mankind’s last nerve. For that matter, I can grate my own last nerve. LOL    Ok, ok let’s get back on track here before all our nerves are whack. For me, these verses also remind me how grumbling and complaining not only grates my nerves & the nerves of others but, the effects of that grumbling and complaining both to my spirit and literally my physical being.

Did you know being exposed to too much complaining can actually make you Dumb!? Research shows that exposure to 30 minutes or more of negativity–including viewing to much negativity on TV–actually peels away neurons in the brain’s hippocampus. (That’s the part of your brain you need for problem solving,)  Basically, they say, ” it turns your brain to mush.”  For more on this study check out: http://www.inc.com/minda-zetlin/listening-to-complainers-is-bad-for-your-brain.html   Based on this we need to heed the wise words of this Proverb: “Instead of complaining that the rosebush is full of thorns, be happy that the thorny bush has roses.”   Studies have also proven: “What we focus our attention on becomes our reality”   Like when you check out a car you like and over the next few days you see those same cars all over the place. That ever happen to you? This is not to suggest that you should pretend there’s nothing ever wrong when a challenge arises. We must acknowledge the truth about a given situation. But there’s a big difference between complaining and making an observation or comment about the situation.  And” dwelling ” on the situation day in and day out really takes its hold.  When you complain, you play the victim role, which takes you down the road of negative energy in your thoughts, words and actions. Just like seeing that car all over the place, the more you complain and focus on the situation the bigger it becomes and the deeper down the dark hole you go. If not careful you will find that One thing leads to seeing all things with a dark shadow around them. Next thing ya know Life is consumed & you are looking for a drink or a quick fix happy pill. Trust me, been there, done that, got a T’shirt and they don’t solve a darn thing. In fact, they just make matters worse both inside and out. You loose your YOU.  – who your were created to Be and that grubmling and complaining only Grows. Like when you leave something in the fridge to long and mold starts out just a little thing but quickly consumes the whole container ! What is your response when you open it? Typically, ” Yuck, I gotta throw this whole thing out ! ”   Another bummer about grumbling and complaining is it Blocks the ability for God to show you The Way to a Lighted path up and out of the darkness. Now on the other hand, when you make a Neutral observation, you are examining the truth of a situation without indulging in a pity party or taking potshots at others. In this way you leave doors both inside and out; open to answers & possibilities.  You avoid going down the dark avenues of despair. Your mind doesn’t throw up walls, your body doesn’t tense up, your tummy doesn’t begin to grumble and complain right along with you.  Another thing these verses remind me of is that Yeshua says, I Can Be like Him, perfect and without blemish, IF I seek Him with all my heart and follow His Way & His Words of Love and Peace. I am reminded instead of grumbling and complaining to ” worry about nothing, and pray about everything.”  And that even though ” I ” may not can handle something, HE Can, He Will, and He promises together We will make it & we don’t even have to fake it! Smile  All I have to do is remember these verses, listen, and ” Do ” as His Word guides me to do….His Word only works if you work it. smile    What He doesn’t say is; ” let’s just talk about it.”

So, I ask you, ” don’t you want to feel better and have a Light to shine the way both inside and out? ”

If your answer is Yes, Let’s give ’em something to talk about and Practice what Yeshua preached !  Come on let’s Live a  Life smelling the Roses instead of being stuck by thorns. This is great timing to Resurrect His Word in honor of His Sacrifice for us by “ choosing ” to be conscious of our words and stop with the grumbling and complaining in our everyday life.  Should you decide to join me, for 21 days, Keep a daily journal of the changes you see both inside and out by not complaining. I think you will be surprised, I know I always am just after a few days, sometimes even within a day when I choose to change my attitude and words.  May your good thoughts, Words, and Actions bring forth Abundant Blessings.

The Lord says, ” I Am leading you, step by step, through your life. Hold My hand in trusting dependence, letting me guide you through this day.”  Even when our future looks uncertain or ” feels” flimsy – maybe even scary, this is how it should be. Things are for a reason & are as they should be. Maybe it is for you to learn something, or for someone else to learn through you, and sometimes, I have learned it is to keep you protected from making a wrong turn on the path He has laid out for ” You “. Secret things belong to the Lord, and the future of our lives are “secret” things to be revealed in right timing.                 Why? you say. If we were to know all things of the future it would for sure create unnecessary anxiety. Look at the anxiety we create as it is. We being who we are as a people try to take control and “change” parts “we feel” are not going our way. I am not saying we should not have goals and desires. But, we do Not know more than the Creator of All things. Instead we should seek His Word, Pray and ask then Listen and Pay attention..He does answer. But, all to often we don’t like the answer that is right in our face and then Look at the consequences of our Not listening. Look at the simple things we are told over and over we are told we shouldn’t do “in this moment” Mark 10:19 Heck, we can’t handle what we are given in the NOW, much less the future and (literally) let’s not discuss our rebellions of the pasts. When we try to figure out the future or dwell in the past it is a form of worry, an act of rebellion actually; which results in our missing the joy and blessings This Day has in store for us.  As the Word says, ” Worry about nothing, Pray about everything.” Phil 4: 6-7. And as Matthew 6:34 says: do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will take care of itself.

So, whenever you find yourself worrying about the future or dwelling in the past and the fears or regrets it may hold, Repent and return to God. He promised he will show us “The Way” – the next step forward, if we but seek Him with all our heart, mind, and souls. Trust Him to open the way in each step of your journey. When you feel tempted and adversity is washing over you, remember His Words “Do not be afraid, because I’m with you; don’t be anxious, because I am your God. I keep on strengthening you; I’m truly with you, helping you .”  Isaiah 41:10. Your gravest danger is worrying about tomorrow, in this your Joy and blessings of today are stolen and lost. Instead keep in your mind, God wants you to; Rest in His Presence, allowing Him to take charge of This day. Do not bolt out the door like a racehorse released, instead walk purposefully, with the Best BFF’s you could have, the family of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Be Thankful & let those who know what’s Best for YOU, direct your course one step at a time. Be thankful for each blessing that comes your way along the way; this brings Joy to both You & the Father. A Grateful heart protects you from negative thinking. Thankfulness allows you to SEE and HEAR the abundance even in the little things showered upon you each day. Blessings that shared from many directions – it is in these blessing the course of your day is directed: in the Sunshine as it draws you out for fresh air which is good for the body, the beauty of a flower; which brings peace, affection of a loved one, friend, or pet – Love rises within, a Hug which comforts you when you are troubled. Or look around at your home (not everyone has a home ya know) & Be Grateful that you have one – not to mention all the “things” in it. Then, Thank God daily for  ALL this and anything else that You see as you look around. A Grateful and Thankful heart fights the darkness and shines My Light within you and without to all those in your presence. Allow His Love, gratefulness, mercy, & Joy to permeate your being that you might share in your relationships His Love planted within your inner garden.  This should be your focus of each day: to cultivate those seeds & bear good fruit and an abundant harvest with the gifts and talents given YOU….not worries of tomorrow, no regrets or beating yourself up from days gone by. You cannot change the past, the future is not yours to know ( Yet ). It is Only In This Moment we Live. It is in this moment we can Ask for the desires of our hearts, pray for others, and Enjoy the Life’s Journey we are on. Not another’s journey but, Our journey with our Lord trusting & Knowing He will take us where we are supposed to go.  I must confess, I am guilty of worrying about the future. This past week God began to deal with me as All These words were in my face, along with the reminder to me keep my BFF, Yeshua’s words, ” Follow Me ”  1st & forefront in my mind. In doing this all the energy around me changed and once again, all is well and I can See and am hearing all He has for me ” In This Moment”. 

Today I want to give Thanks to Sarah Young’s daily devotional ” Jesus Calling”. It was from this little book  “some of the words” &  the inspiration of this Post was born! . It is a wonderful little daily devotional book, I highly recommend.

Shalom and may this post plant a seed to always Remember, ” Life is In this Moment”.
