Oneness with Nature

Genesis 2:7 the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being

Life on Earth depends on, is shaped by, and affects climate.

Our Life is part of and One with the Earth and both are just one component in the Universe as a whole. as said in Romans 8:18:  all things work together for good to those who love God, who; or that in all things God works together with those who love him to bring about what is good.  The Earth will not survive without us and we will not survive without the Earth. We are both gardens which require seeds and tender Loving Care (TLC) to produce good food in order to Live. Did you know the Earth needs food to produce food? Do you ever stop and think about the Fact All Our very existence requires a daily food source, our Energy sources come from the Earth and how we treat the Earth affects the climate system and in turn, the climate dictates where and how species can survive. Yes, it takes ALL of us working Together- choosing good for Life to bear GOOD. Currently the people in the house (the earth) are divided planting seeds of both good and evil which is bearing fruit that is selfish and disrespectful to the Earth & it’s inhabitants. The GOOD NEWS IS: We can still restore the Garden both inside and out to its Natural state through LOVE.  A big part of that Sustainability as it will take Time to restore the garden(s). I ask  “Do you want to Live the life you’ve been given or destroy it?” And Daily the choice is yours: think on the definition of Daily: produced, or occurring every day. Wow! and that is so literal, if we don’t care for ourselves, others, and the Earth we live on Daily, weeds and natural disaster will consume and destroy all the Good things so many of us right now are taking for granted.

So again as my dear friend says:  Choose Good Things!

That said, today I am going to share Earthly ways you can participate in restoring your garden both inside and out. smile Not only you are what you think, you are what you EAT! So let’s begin with growing your own garden of veggies, herbs, and fruits. Whether you live in the city or rural you Can grow your own garden. If you live in an apartment you may have to still buy your fruit as I realize many grow on trees but, we can grow more in a small space than you think. A great site for those with small yards is Urban Edible Forest.  Love blueberries? You can grow them in a container! Go to You Tube and type in, How to grow Blueberries in a container. In fact, if you want to know how to grow anything, go to You Tube and type in what’s on your mind.

No patio or yard here’s one to look up on growing indoors: https://www.advancednutrients.com/articles/easy-hydroponics-beginners-guide/

Another recent post by some stars is: https://news.yahoo.com/10-stars-gardening-while-stuck-212233015.html

And did you know Gardening can help your Mental Health. This is a great site that shares just how much.  I know I can testify to how much it helps me work through things, relax, get some fresh air, be amazed at how things grow and get a good work out!  https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/think-act-be/201906/10-mental-health-benefits-gardening

BTW: I am not saying never go to the grocery or the Farmers market. I love going to Farmers markets and stands. I live in the North where the winters get very cold! So, Don’t get me wrong I support our farmers too, not just because of winter but, because there are some things I just am not good at growing I’ve discovered. smile  My favorite way of supporting farmers is: http://www.imperfectfoods.com. While they aren’t as perfect looking as the grocery stores they are Just as Tasty and very affordable and they come right to My door!

For more info on how We, mankind and the Earth are one in more ways than one watch this:  https://www.climate.gov/teaching/essential-principles-climate-literacy/teaching-essential-principle-3-life-earth-depends

Well, that’s my 2 cents for the day. May you enjoy and I pray you take this post to heart and Choose to join in on the restoration of the Earth, both inside and out!

Shalom!

Everyone needs Love, right?

In this time and season we are hearing, “What the world needs now is Love.”  I so agree. What does that mean? What is Love? Is Love all Light and goodness? You would think so. However, Love can and does “sometimes” have a dark side. So let’s talk about Love a little. Yeshua (Jesus) tells us the most important of commandments is: “ First, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and the 2nd is love your neighbor as yourself.” You would think that should be simple. But, thanks to man, Love is very complex. Why? Because mankind as a whole doesn’t walk in they ways of our Lord’s love and has, like in everything else in life, often misinterprets & misconstrues Love. This is why it’s so important that you seek God 1st and allow Him to reveal what Love really is & how to walk in it. You see Love comes in many forms. The Main ones being the THREE types of Love in the Bible: Eros, Philos, & Agape. I have listed 3 websites at the end on Love in hopes the reader will want to dig deeper and read more. I liked these sites so these are the ones I share and of course if you google it, there are more. smile

Today, I am addressing Philos Love – it’s the love we as God’s people are called to walk in toward one another/ toward all mankind.  It is the Light of this Love you should be able to share with your neighbor. Unfortunately, this form of Love is the one I believe can most easily take a dark side. It is the easiest form for someone to take out of context and decided its more or that they want it to be more, whether you do or not. What that person needs to realize is that only pushes the intended receiver away. This is sad because in this behavior love gets lost entirely and becomes ugly for both parties.  A young woman said to me once; Beauty is a Pain. She meant that both physically and spiritually. Being beautiful inside and out she all too often experiences many – men especially – who take her kindness, her light of love, and her God given natural beauty either as a sign of weakness to use and abuse or they distort it into a lust driven quote “love” within their minds. One example is when a man allows their lust, desires, or maybe “need” due to a lack of love to run rampant in their imaginations. They turn kindness into the potential of a relationship. Even though that was in No way insinuated or even hinted at by the woman.  Her intention was just walking in the Philos love God calls her to share in her day to day walk. Philos love is basically loving someone like your sister or brother. It’s the love you have for a friend, Nothing more, nothing less. It is the most common form of love and this is what the World needs now.

The other two forms of God’s love Eros an Agape are Personal and God should be in the mix in the sharing of these forms of Love. These loves are shared willingly and mutually Not by why of Force in any form or fashion.

Here are the guidelines, the attributes of Real Love we all need to remember:

My prayer today is: May the Reader really take in these words then Live and Love within them. May they seek God 1st to experience the fullness of Love & have any longing needs for love fulfilled. That they learn to truly love themselves so that then they may love and respect others so they may walk in the appropriate love with each person they encounter. That in their seeking an Eros love, that God provide them a match that is Wanting and willing to receive that form of love they wish to share. If not, then move on that is not the one for you. And that they remember in Eros love it’s mutual – both must be in agreement in wanting to share that love (example: a man/woman relationship love)

May the reader have ears to hear and eyes to see. In Messiah Jesus name I pray. Amen

What’s a Pescatarian?

Good Morning!  As we leave our liquid only diet. Hallelujah! I personally really struggled yesterday, to the point at the end of the day, I had to have a little squash and a cup of nuts. I am Grateful for the all that has been revealed during this last 7 days and have no regrets at all yet, I am ready to move into the remaining days of the Fast and add in fruits, veggies, and if you are like me and like a little meat – add fish. One of the blessings I gained from my fasting was: I do want/need to listen to my Dr. and my daughter and for the most part cut out meat. However, I do LOVE fish! Thank God it has a lot of health benefits and of course there is a name for this type of diet. A Pescatarian!  Rather than me go into a whole discussion on it, here’s a bit of what bbcgoodfood.com says about it:  The pescatarian diet is widely accepted as being a nutritious choice due to the known benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle, coupled with high-protein, lean white fish and omega-3 fatty acids found in oily fish including salmon, mackerel, herring and fresh tuna. This style of eating has shown a reduced risk of developing conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity, all of which are risk factors for heart disease. In addition, a 2016 study showed that omega-3 fatty acids were associated with a lower risk of fatal heart attacks. A balanced pescatarian diet also mirrors the Mediterranean diet.

Research has linked a pescatarian diet with positive impacts on chronic disease and lower mortality rates, in comparison to diets that include meat. The study also showed those on a pescatarian diet had lower levels of blood cholesterol and blood pressure and a lower risk of diabetes, blood pressure and metabolic syndrome, compared with non-vegetarians.

If you click n the words in color, it will give you choice of going to those sites for more info. smile

This past week, I pray you have planted some new seeds, unburied and cultivated others, and may have reaped some benefits already. I know I sure have. Remember this is not a “you have to follow this Fast just like I say”.  Some others, who have chosen to fast, have tweeked the fast and are only doing portions and/or have added their own items to best fertilize their inner gardens. Examples: 2 of my friends are adhering to Ramadan fast this 30 days of No Food from sun up to sundown, eating a good breakfast and breaking fast at dark with a good healthy dinner. Another is doing sun up to as close to sundown as she can, the days are long so that means dinner is at Eight and practicing meditation and reading up on Buddhism. smile  Then a 3rd is not doing the food portion and instead cutting out all negative media and transforming the mind with positive programming and reading of the word. As for those who read my post and choose not to participate in the fast; I pray you find my posts interesting & that they are providing good seeds to benefit the inner garden of your mind and heart.

Shalom!

Who do you say you are?

Morning! In my readings and viewings God keeps bringing to my attention, “Who do you say you are? Do you know who you are in the I AM? I often listen to Wayne Dyer’s videos & this one really tapped the door within. As part of our fast, I recommended we Only view things that bring awareness, good knowledge, and things that uplift you within and without. Since the fast started, I have been drawn to Fred K Price Jrs 6 sermon series on “New Creation Righteousness” & one by A.R. Bernard sermon on “Made in God’s Image“. And then last night Wayne Dyer’s “I AM” meditation, of which I have listened to many times, really sunk in. He has two versions, one is just the soothing music to meditate to and the one below has an introduction by him explaining the purpose and who the ” I AM ” is and our role in the I AM. Usually, I listen to this and fall asleep listening but, last night I listen intently to what he was saying and together, with the sermons above I have been listening to, I awoke this morning with a new awareness to be conscious of who I say “I AM”.  In my prayers this morning the Spirit said, ” pay attention from both a place of what you are creating with my words and especially the words that follow I AM ……   As you know I Am a strong believer in “as a woman/man thinketh so is she/he”. Which strongly brought the question in my daily Words,  “who do you say you are in God? – in God’s creation?”

On that note, my post today is the recommendation to go to You Tube watch and meditate on the words and with this video. Then tomorrow go to You tube and search for the sermons listed above and watch them the remainder of this week beginning with       “Made in God’s Image” .  I will be very surprised if these don’t tap and transform your inner I am, how you speak about yourself and in this change you will create a new outer garden which will bear good fruit for all without as well. .  Shalom

Humbling yourself before Him

Morning. Part of fasting is humbling yourself before God, in other words, submitting yourself, setting aside Your ways to seek The Way of the Master Gardner, Elohim in the cleansing and transforming of your inner garden.  That said, I wanted to share some verses for reflection and to hopefully guide you to some deep diving into what it means to humble and submit to God’s plan. Keeping in mind the submitting I am referring to is not a negative word, just the opposite. The submission is coming from our Love for Elohim (God), Yeshua (the Messiah, Jesus), and the ‘Ha Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit). I ask when you sincerely love someone aren’t you willing to give, serve, and wanting to submit to them and make them happy the same as they do that with you? Aren’t you willing to submit yourself into a Love relationship with Yeshua (Jesus) as He Loved & Submitted himself to you, FOR YOU?

2 Chronicles 7:14 …. then if my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them & forgive their sin and heal their land.

Matthew 18:4  So the greatest in the Kingdom is whoever makes himself as humble as this child.

1 Peter 5:6 Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the right time He may lift you up.

These are just a few verses on humbling yourself. For the full view and understanding of Humbling and Submission You will need to do further deep diving on your own. I recommend you Google each word for the definition of each and then good “what does God’s word say about Humbling and Submission. I will kick it off with this one: https://www.crosswalk.com/faith/spiritual-life/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-meaning-of-submission-in-the-bible.html

I sign off and head to work with this recipe, for the liquid fast, I tried yesterday and Loved it!  1/2 c. of water, 2 tblsp of aloe vera juice, 1/2 of apple diced, 1/2 pear diced, & one scoop of Veggie Greens powder, throw them in the blender (I use a Bullet) and blend down to liquid form.

Shalom!  TTYL  Image result for Happy Face

Day 3 of the Fast

Morning! Even if you are not fasting, read on. I think you may enjoy some of the sites and info I have shared. I would love to hear from those fasting, go to: my comments and answer my question: So how you doin’ ? Another reason I ask is because anytime you begin a fast your body and mind do respond to taking things from them. The first few days “can be” trying and you feel like, ” I am not sure I want to do this.”  “Hang in There” , it does get easier, and stay focused on the Fact, you will Reap a Good Harvest.

As I mentioned in prior post, I will be sharing ideas and information throughout the fast. If you scroll down thru prior posts under tab “Lord Knows”, you’ll find all sorts of recipe ideas, seed planting ideas (both for outer and inner gardens), knowledge I’ve gained over time, and some of my life experiences & my 2% worth on some subjects. Some of these I will repost on FB or direct you to within my new posts. No sense in re-investing the wheel. Example: back in 2018 I have a post on the “Blessings of Fasting.” This post has not only Blessings but both a liquid and healthy veggie recipes from the Daniel’s fast. More info on the Daniels fast can be read here: https://draxe.com/nutrition/daniel-fast/           The home page of my site does some recommending reading of other prior posts too. It’s found under Share THIS, there is little red word, “Related”. I would like to say I know how to do a quick search on my own site back thru older posts but, sorry to say, I don’t.  I love writing but, as my grandson says, “Nanna you are so prehistoric when it comes techie stuff.”  To give you some idea: I don’t even use apps on my phone. However, Praise God for all my tech savvy family and friends who lend the dinosaur a hand when she needs it.

Now to share my last couple of days:  BTW, I will not post on Saturdays as I observe the 7th day Sabbath, a day of Rest and lots more, which will be a separate post next Friday. I started the day with a great Community Chicory Coffee smoothie which consists of 1 demitasse cup of Chicory Coffee, 6 oz. of lactose free 2% milk, 2 scoops of Doterra Trim and Shake, a dash of nutmeg, and one tblsp of  shaved Ibarra chocolate, Blend then sit in the freezer 30 mins and what a Great refreshing, filling way to start the morning. in case you wonder what exactly is a demitasse cup: Demitasse (dem-E-tas) is French for “half cup: This small coffee cup holds about 2 to 3 fluid ounces (60 to 90 milliliters). Then I spent time in Reading in my Complete Jewish Bible – which can be read free online if your interested. https://www.biblestudytools.com/cjb/, I am working on another small book and I was feeling inspired so I did some writing and then went out in my backyard to do my Prayers & Meditate while enjoying God’s creations. The day was so gorgeous I just had to take a drive and park down by the River and listen to the beautiful music is plays as it rushes down the to Falls. On my way home I saw my fav Pho place on Pine was open for take out and decided I wanted some of their fabulous broth for my dinner. Remember it was a day of rest and real rest to me includes limited kitchen duty. smile  I loved it so much I decided to look up the recipe to share with you. https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/12400-simple-vegetarian-pho-broth

I had a couple of great conversations with friends and ended the day back in my Biblical studies, pulled some info on health and diet for future posts and watched part of Andy Stanley’s “Go Fish”  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_DKr7ygNYE   I looked up and it was dark!  See how the day can be filled with Good food both literally and mentally with very little negative anything seeping in. Yes, I did have a couple of calls from troubled friends but, honestly that really isn’t negative as they just needed an ear and some comfort so it turned out very positive. And that is what friends are for: to give Love during the good and bad times thru Comfort, Mercy, lend an ear in times of need, & sharing things to help one another thru. Since one person called late and was upset after we hung up I shared this & thought you might enjoy this too during the fast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmPmq-HlG5g

And now we step into day 3 and off I go to watch my 2 hrs of TV on the weekend: The “CBS Sunday Morning show”.

Have a Blessed Day! Renee’

Catching up

Hello again today!  Part of my Fasting time is going to be to get back to posting on a regular basis. And that begins with me doing a bit of catch up. smile I think this is a perfect time for that plus, I want to shift from posting in the AM to posting in the PM especially during the fast. Why? Because I want to provide encouragement, suggested readings, programs, prayers, in general information for your next day during the Fast. And those who are not Fasting just enjoy the information. Smile

Today, I discovered a tsp. of Doterra greens powder in a cup of hot Red Clover tea is pretty tasty! I am forever saying, “wonder what this would taste like? then I go for it!” “Most” of the time my choices come out to my liking, sometimes even better than I thought they would. Here’s some info on Red Clover tea: https://www.therighttea.com/red-clover-tea.html and if you click on temple tools you can go to my Doterra site for details on Terra greens powder & order if you are so inclined. smile    While I worked today I listed to some great instrumental Praise music called “Awaken” by Damien Escobar/DJ Radikel feat Eric Blin on You tube. The video is beautiful too.. no I didn’t watch it while working. LOL   Work is over now and I am off to do my reading in the Torah, Prayers, have some broth for dinner, and then lie down and listen to some Wayne Dyer, “There’s a Spiritual Solution to every Problem”. Love youtube.

I sign off with a segment of my reading in my Jesus Calling book: Keep your eyes on Me, not only for direction but also for empowerment. In order to know My will, you must spend time with Me — enjoying My Presence. I will show you the path of Life; in My Presence is fullness of Joy; at My right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

I can testify to the words: Time with God is not some onerous task but is a delightful privilege.  I for one am so Grateful for all the Love shown to me over the years both from God and from those He sent across my path that allowed His Spirit to come forth from within them.

Night and may you enjoy this lovely music.

Shall we Begin….

Shalom! Today is the 1st day of our 30 day Fast! Let me begin saying, if the Liquid only fast is a bit to extreme for you by all means, feel free to MODIFY the fast. While the timing of our fast occurs during the same time as Ramadan, it is Not specific to nor does it follow the guidelines of any particular Religious Fast. My choice of timing was personal & Spirit led of which I wanted to extend & share the experience with anyone interested. As it turns out there are some who are choosing to do just that.  In my conversations with some who were interested I found the first week of liquids only was too much for them. i.e. this paragraph. smile  I suggest if you want to modify the food portion of the Fast, go straight to week two; all veggies & fruit, No yeast products and as little fake sugar as possible. I say fake sugar as many veggies and fruit turn to sugar but, that is different type of sugar. https://eating-made-easy.com/sugar-vs-added-sugar-whats-the-difference/

Let me be clear the main point of the Fast is: Too draw closer in relationship with God, to gain wisdom & knowledge, to submit to Love and cleanses our minds and bodies of  the garbage and weeds that are choking out the good seed planted within the garden of our Minds and Hearts.

This is why I am not “telling” or “judging” anyone’s choices within the fast. It is your choice of readings, the way you pray, what you ingest, what programming you watch. The guidance, suggestions, and information I share this next 30 days is all YOUR Choice as far as what you participate in. You know what garbage is within and I know from experience the Fast will bring awareness to all the garbage/weeds that need removed.   As for me in my house, my personal time will be predominately in the Torah (the 1st five books of what is termed the Old testament) as I want to cultivate my inner garden just as Yeshua (Jesus) did in His life. As All of Yeshua teachings were/are from teachings of Torah. So if I want to walk with and understand Jesus, I must start where Jesus started, the Torah. As He said in Matt 5: 17 “ Do not think I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but, to Fulfill them”. You see the teachings of the Torah are tools for living a healthy, joyful, loving life of Love, commitment and service not only to God but, to loving yourself and your neighbor. Matt 22:37-40 – uses text taken from the Torah. see Lev 19:18 & Deut.6:5. One of the reasons for my fast is this; In my opinion, our contemporary culture is obsessed with the latest and greatest, which in turn has led mankind into too much modification and instead are more driven by man’s desires than that of God’s plan. So, I am going back to the Beginning, what I believe to be the Source, with a hearts desire of Restoring my inner and outer life back to its original design. You see I have had my garden 80% there in the past and then let those latest and greatest desires plant things that only ended up choking out the beautiful relationship of Love I had with the Family of God. You see, those latest and greatest “things” are not founded in commitment and don’t last. They can’t. They can only produce the hunger and desire for more, more, more….in other words, Greed & Lust are it’s fruit. That is Not the Love I want in my garden/ in this house. I have become very aware I want what is Real and is everlasting, committed, and produces that same good fruit in every season. As I read recently, To sink into the Torah is to meet the revelation of God as understood by our ancestors in the Faith of Yeshua.  In its words not only is the Spirit of God involved in its writing of the Scriptures, the Spirit is also now involved in breathing Life into these ancient words. When we let the Torah speak, we see our own lives with new eyes.  I personally am not saying only the Torah can speak Life into the gardens of our hearts and minds however, I will say Only choosing Good things, those found in Love, Kindness, Comfort, Forgiveness, Mercy, Understanding, Trust, and Faith can produce good fruit within and without. As everything, even thinking is founded in Words. So to Live and bring forth good fruit it Does take us seeking, developing, and submitting to a a STRONG Committed foundation Only found in Word(s). Because, as a Man/Woman thinketh so are they. So my foundation will be using the tools from where I believe I will find the best seeds for my inner garden. Life and Death is in the Power of the Tongue… words and how they are interpreted, cultivated, and grow are all about your Choices and they will produce the consequences thereof.  Now, as we go forward in the Fast I pray this prayer for us all,         ” May the words we seek to plant and cultivate bear the most hybrid form of Love and Light in our Lives and the lives of All those we interact with.”

Ramadan Mubarak

1 more day till the Fast!

Good Morning! Tomorrow we Rise and Shine to begin our 30 day Fast! I for one am very excited. Each time I have done a fast, I think I think I want to do this all the time. I feel so revived, loved, more aware of Life, just to name a few things. But, of course that doesn’t happen. However, most of the practices of the fast should be Key components of our daily Lifestyle: Prayer, quality set aside time with God, limited media in our day, time out in the fresh air/in the nature of God’s creation, time with family and friends sharing Love and fun things in Life, Praise/worship music, and healthy good nourishment put in our bodies. I forgot to mention yesterday, Whether you pray, standing, sitting, or prostrating in prayer is your choice. Did you know many faiths prostrate in Prayer such as: Oriental Orthodox, Syrian Christians, Orthodox Jews and more. Jesus taught/demonstrated this method of prayer in Matthew 26:39, in Matthew 26:39 and Mark 14:35, we are told Jesus fell with his head (face) toward the ground and he prayed. Today Jews bow 5 times during prayer (3 times a day). The form of the bow among the vast majority of observant Jews today is not a full bow down onto the ground. It appears that by the medieval era the practice of full bowing began to fall into disuse. The reason why is difficult to ascertain. This site explains benefits of prayer including bowing and prostrating in prayer. https://www.focusonthefamily.com/faith/seeking-god-in-prayer/. And did you know Science has proven prostrating in prayer has health benefits both mentally and physically? When a person stands and prostrates several times during prayer his whole body is in an active motion. In this position, the person who offers prayer, is submitting in prayer as he/she rests their forehead on the ground while the hands are placed at the sides. This brings most of the body muscles, if not all, in active motion and gives them some exercise.

Now moving on to the Liquid diet portion of tomorrow’s kick off. There are so many websites and demonstrations on You Tube, Pinterest of liquid Fasts/diets I suggest you  take some time tonight to find some of your favs and save them for this next week. Not to mention you could have a V-8. They have both veggie and fruit type drinks. Careful not to do only these they do add more sugar and such in these pre made drinks. Yet, there are some healthy pre made purchases you can make. I love the Rock Church 21 day fasting site: https://www.sdrock.com/stories/liquidfast/.  It has juice recipes & smoothies in case you don’t have a juicer. In Our fast it is any form of healthy liquid including chicken broth, Veggie green drinks, and infused water done with fruits. https://www.culinaryhill.com/8-infused-water-recipes/.  The infused site has smoothie recipes as well. If you are doing smoothies limit those to Two a day and the remainder of the day stick to water, juice, more Liquid type drinks. Remember I told you I am Not cutting off the coffee drinkers. Smile  Just reduce it to ONE teacup size a day or you can try my daughter’s fav smoothie: Banana, almond butter, coffee, milk, dates, and carob powder blended. I personally drink chicory coffee and the chicory has many health benefits. Coffee itself has gotten a bad rap, there are health benefits to coffee but, that’s another post. LOL

I sign off reminding you: We are limited to One hour of Media- negative programming. We are taking the Garbage in Garbage out quick method. Which means before & after that One hour be sure to watch, listen, or read something uplifting, loving, healthy, and/or Faith based. Here are some recommendations: 1. Goggle the power of Positive programming, many interesting sites. 2. Meditations  https://www.healthline.com/health/meditation-mindfulness-best-videos-of-the-year#1     3. my fav music in English/Hebrew https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6eayAxzYDo&list=RDS6eayAxzYDo&start_radio=1   And of course you can search Netflix, Hulu, PBS, and You Tube and find lots of other great programs, Like Gardening or Home design programs.  Just not chaos, backbiting, killing, depression, and disease! Enough! We need to get back to the LOVE of God and the balanced Order in Life His Way guides us to Live. This is the Way, the Cure to Healthy living emotionally and physically. The only way we can fulfill as the Lord’s Prayer says, Earth as it is in Heaven, which was God’s plan at Creation. We DO have all the resources both within and without if we STOP abusing and misusing all of it.

During our Fast and I pray for all our days after we listen to some words from my little book Jesus Calling: “Listen to me continually, I have much to communicate to you. In this I am training you to set your mind on ME more and more, tuning out distractions through the help of my spirit. Let ME control your Mind. The mind is the most restless, unruly part of mankind. Man is the pinnacle of My creation, and the human mind is wondrously complex. I granted you freedom to think for yourself, this is a godlike privilege, forever setting you apart from animals and robots. I made You in My image, use this time to Seek Me, be transformed, and restored to who I created You to BE.”

The Lord is great and greatly to be Praised. Have a Blessed Day!

Prayer Time

Good Morning! Two more days till we begin the Fast. For many prayer is a daily habit and for some it is only thought of when times of trouble arise or when asking for something. Or a quickie ritual at the dinner table, “Thank you for this food.” Don’t get me wrong, I am not passing judgement, only stating some facts.

During the Fast we will Pray 3 to 5 times a day at least – your choice whether 3 or 5.           3 x a day would be when you rise in the morning, at Noon, and Evening. 5 x a day would be Morning, mid morning, Noon, mid afternoon, and Evening. Of course, these are suggestions, you can choose times or pray throughout the day whenever you please. Smile

Prayer is quality time talking with God, sharing the day good and bad, seeking guidance, requesting healing for you and others, allowing yourself to become more aware of who God is and who you are. In other words: Meditating on His Word/or just silently Meditating allowing the Holy Spirit to fill you. I think by the end of the Fast you will find time with God everyday is well worth your time.

Some of the more formal names of Prayer from the Bible are:  Gratefulness & Thanks (Phil. 4:6), Praise/Worship (Acts 13:2-3) , Intercession, Faith (James 5:18), Corporate Prayers (Acts 1:14) , Consecration (Matt 26:39), Petition Prayers for daily needs – like the Lord’s Prayer (Matt 6:9-13) Did you know there are 650 prayers in the Bible alone! Not to mention all the many prayers in other Faiths such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and many more. As you know, I am a person who believes our words create and cultivate our inner garden. So, throughout the Fast I will be sharing prayers of all Faiths. I pray you are able to appreciate the prayers for What they say not the “Religion” or practice of religion itself. One of the things during our Fast is to grown in the Spirit of Love and the Light of God. Love is not divided as a house divided cannot stand. It is mankind that has divided and put God into boxes, God does not look at us, His Creation through those eyes. Do I believe God designed a specific Way to live life? Yes. As we so obviously can’t just walk in the Way of Love willingly and on our own at our creation. We need structure, order, fertilization, cultivation, experience of Love, and in these we gain knowledge and BECOME the beautiful loving people God created. This is the Main reason of the Fast, for God to show us The Way He wants us to go in our journey, to experience the truth of Love, to show us how to pull the weeds in our inner garden so His seeds planted within can come Forth and bear good fruit toward ALL those we interact with. Did you know The word “Torah” means “teaching”?

So this post I end with a lovely prayer from Islam:

The Fatiha

  • In the name of God, the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy!
  • Praise belongs to God, Lord of the Worlds,
  • the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy,
  • Master of the Day of Judgement.
  • It is You we worship; it is You we ask for help.
  • Guide us to the straight path: …
  • the path of those You have blessed, those who incur no anger and who have not gone astray.

Have a Blessed Day!
