Looking in the Mirror

Greetings! I know, I know it’s been awhile since my last post.  I was doing some looking at myself and those I interact with. God showed me what we see in others is some component within our selves. Good and Bad. Which is why the Book says in Matthew 7    ” Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Think about it and watch you will find, most of the time, what you are judging is something you have done, at some point, yourself. I believe this is why we recognize it in the 1st place. Of course anything we find unpleasant we don’t like to see in ourselves much less admit. Example: a neighbor is what I call a little “rough around the edges”  not knowing the best way to present her passions or emotional upsets.  Hmmm, have I been there and got a T-shirt. Yes! and I am sure the same thought ran thru people’s minds when I was at that spot on the road in my journey. Or how about the car bumpin’ that bass as they drive down the road?  Can you say ” I never” . I can’t, I have bumped my gospel music and blues at assorted times.. why? Cause I love it and somehow it sounds great to turn it up! Especially when I want to sing along…if nothing else to hide my voice. LOL    Or haven’t you ever stepped out and ran to the store without being all polished and looking your best?

Yep, in today’s world of judgments and quick to post those judgments whether it is FB, Twitter, or whatever…take a moment and ask yourself, ” do I have that beam in my eye?” or ” have I been there myself?”  Careful, do you really want to pass judgment for the world to see and hear?  Ya know someone just might come back saying, ” oh girl, I know you can relate, remember when you were out on the street acting a fool behind that man of yours….”    Yep, God has been revealing to me a lot lately, no not one of us is perfect and Real Love is full of mercy and grace of which every one of us needs at different times in different seasons but, no not one of us can judge another.

On that note: I leave you saying, ” who can cast the 1st stone?”  & this song:   Hugs.
