Past, Present, Future…

How many times have you heard, Live in the Now, let go of the Past, and don’t focus on the Future? While that sounds good sometimes I realized that is not so good. I am Not saying get stuck in the Past or wallow in any negativity of the past however there is a lot to learn from the Past so you don’t keep going around the same merry go round & worse expecting a different outcome. “that’s the definition of insanity ya know”. In fact, when reading your Bible hopefully you have seen and learned from the lives of those of the Past & about what’s to come in the Future. Personally, I have been working on a collage with my photos. Some of those old photos reminded me of the crazy life I used to live & I saw how Good, Merciful, and Forgiving God was, saving me and my girls, in spite of my dumb choices. As I was reading my Bible this week, I saw that same Loving God over and over in the lives of Abraham, Issac, Esau, and Jacob. My eyes were opened to the Truth that if we only live in the “now – in this moment” we walk a rougher road and are prone to repeat our mistakes and the mistakes of those before us. The roots of Knowledge and Wisdom are found in what has already been planted. This reveals what works & bears good fruit and what doesn’t. In this, we learn to Choose good seeds for our inner and outer gardens. The good seeds transform and renew us.

As for the future, there are times we must look at the future and plan, like when going to college and picking courses for a career. The future is also in His Word…it is called Prophesy. And what about the Promises Jesus made, we want to look at those they give Hope and strengthen our Faith. Not to mention, our purpose on the road we are called to Travel. If you just live in this moment, you’re not as motivated to seek, strive, do His will on your life or Grow? Example, when you build a house, you need design plans. You don’t just go along building with whatever pops into your mind. That’s a house built on sand, a shifting, shakey ground.

That said, I will seek the Lord with all my heart, I will look forward to His Promises to come in the Future. While I choose to never go back & try to relive the past, God forbid, or hold on to something or someone that’s unhealthy or long gone, I will continue to seek and gain knowledge from past cultures, mistakes, and testimonies of how God can turn a mess into a message. I will continue to gleen food from His Word, which much of was given in the past. Why? Because it is still true today & it has been proven to me it can, does, & will continue to benefit me in my future. One with Nature

During these stressful times, a sure way to reduce yours and your families anxiety, depression, and stress is getting back to Nature. Mankind was not created to live tethered to machines: cell phone, computers, TV, and etc. Our bodies, minds, and Spirits are designed to be one with Creation. We are created from the Earth with Breath of Life (God’s Spirit) breathed in us. Nor is it intended for us to consume so much altered food sources. (I will enter into that subject more in September)

Whether it be large or small or even in containers studies have proven gardening especially outdoor gardening lifts your mood. Another mention is the power of Sunlight. Did you know sunlight increases serotonin levels: your natural mood enhancer, increases vitamin D, and reduces bone loss? Yep, Nature and all it offers was God’s divine design for our well being. Not chemicals, light from computers, and isolation indoors. Now don’t misinterpret my words. I am not saying we should not have respect for the pandemic we are going thru. I fully believe we should were masks & social distance especially indoors. However, it is proven outdoors the virus is not spreading as easily, when you respect social distance guidelines. I say at least 12-20 ft. apart. At the end is another site with some good info on distancing. Notice how outdoors there is less risk? Ya think God is trying to guide us back to The Way that most benefits us? No, I am not saying God has brought a pandemic on us. I am saying, during all this, one sure thing being revealed is God’s design is much more beneficial to our lives in every area of Life. Love heals not division, Sun lifts our moods & too much indoor isolation drags us down, gardening, hiking, camping, star gazing, Earthing, and eating fruits/veggies all give us stronger immune systems and avenues of stress reduction. Here is an “all things work to the good” benefit of the isolation we experienced from March to June: it cleansed the air & water in our rivers/lakes/ocean. (see my prior posts for more info on that) So you see, mankind and the Earth must operate together as One to sustain Life. We must protect Nature, care for the Earth and not allow Greed to strip the Earth of it’s ability to sustain All of mankind. I know lots of parents are feeling overwhelmed right now. Make sure you include some outdoor time daily. Even if it is just take a walk, check out all the things in nature together as you walk. Trust me it will benefit all of you and bring better rest at night. Some of my kids and grandkids fondest memories are our outdoor activities. Going to park, walks around the neighborhood, at the beach, camping in the mountains and hiking. Another nice outdoor activity is Meditating outdoors. I know it doesn’t sound much fun but, shoveling snow is good exercise too. So, get out there and enjoy Nature. Grow your own veggies. Not only will you reduce stress your work will produce healthier veggies for you and yours. It’s time to prep for growing Fall foods such as Kale, Spinach, Lettuce, and much more. Putting on Armor

Morning. There are times Life can take you into a slump. The last few days did just that to me. Just seemed each way I turned was a hard bump in the road. My emotions were swinging and hard as “I” tried to my attitude was not rising up to the situations. Well, not in a good way anyway. Then I got up this morning turned to Ephesians 6:5-18 and as I often say, ” God is on time all the time”!   Once again The Word giving me the Words that I needed to apply to get me Up and Over it all. So today, I share these verses, cause I suspect for some of you this Word could be right on time for you too. smile

Bondservants, (workers/employees) be obedient to those who are your masters (bosses) according to the flesh, with respect, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; 6 not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
9And you, masters (bosses), do the same things to them (employees), giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, then stand strong! 
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;           16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
May you all have a Blessed Day!  I’m off to work to be the Best I can be with sincerity of heart and in FULL ARMOR reminding myself if I feel myself getting down, discouraged, my attitude shifting to a bad attitude… STOP!  The read or listen to these verses to see  what piece of my armor did I take off?  Put it back on and Praying always for guidance of how to handle whatever it is like my Lord Yeshua would do. Cause letting the devil get me down sure didn’t help one darn thing, it only took me further down in the sinking quick sands of darkness, my tongue rattled off words that I wish I could take back but instead all I could do was say, ” I’m Sorry for my bad attitude”  Praise God those I was complaining and babbling off to Love me and accepted my apology.

The Way of Love…

People, how far will we allow ourselves to drift away from the Way of Love? Away from what makes America a Great Nation. As stated in Mark 3:24-25 ” If a kingdom (country) is divided against itself, it cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand.”   We have been and can still be the Greatest country on Earth…but, not in the direction we are allowing ourselves to be led. Have we all forgotten what this country was founded on? What made the garden grow and flourish in it’s cultivation. What the heart’s desires and hopes were when our forefathers Immigrated to this Beautiful Garden full of Blessings. If you study history, it was as simple as the words of the Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) reply: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”   Just think of how You feel when you walk in Love or Love is shown to you. Does not the warmth of Joy bloom within when you choose to operate in the Way of Love? Do you not see the effects and growth when you plant the seeds of Love in your home and neighborhood? At the same time, can you not SEE the direction we are going stuck in computers, phones, hating, backbiting, & gossiping? Can you not See and Hear this only creates a “house divided” that will fall? How many have seen the Fall of their communities when the weeds of Division and Hate choke out its very Life. This has been the downfall of countries throughout history. Do we want to follow along like blind sheep and see history repeat itself? See American become a country of destruction fighting over Stuff ? At this point it is up to US, we the people to Stop this divide. To remember we must choose the High Road. Not build walls, live in judgment of one another, act as if we are “holier than thou”. You “know” within yourself the Truth: that we are all created in the same image and no not one of us is perfect nor can caste that stone. Choosing a leader of Hate, Division, and Caster of Stones makes us no different than the Terrorists we are hating on. Bullying, my way or no way is Hate no matter what packaging you put it in. No matter ones race or beliefs we All require, Need, and Thrive in the Abundance of Life when we walk in Love. The same way you see destruction, I know you See the benefits of Love daily too. You see it thru the actions still shown by many throughout the World. It is also True that we die on the vine when we Choose to divide and walk the Road of Greed and Hate. The Life is sucked right out of Our communities which in turn fall and crumble. Only Death resides. Do You want to follow in the footsteps that have destroyed so many countries?

Our forefathers were Immigrants breaking away from Great Britain. Considered the Enlightenment Movement, they questioned traditional authority and embrassed rationalism. (a belief or theory that opinions and actions should be based on reason and knowledge rather than on religious belief or emotional response) This view was an attempt not pass judgment and open the doors of America to ALL mankind. They felt a calling to certain unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness for each and every individual. This calling stemmed from living in a life of dictatorship and a lack of Freedom. A calling of the spirit within each of us. That calling is the authority breathed within us..Love planted within. Love does not thrive in the bonds of Control, Abuse, inequality, and division. Man was tired of not being allowed to Grow and BE who He was created to BE. Out of this these words of the constitution were written: ” We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity (all future generations), do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”  http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/constitution_transcript.html   While the initial 13 colonies who founded the Americas were believers in the Way of the Word of God, in the teaching of Yeshua’s Love, Mercy, Compassion & celebrating their religious as well as political independence, they did not shun the beliefs of their neighbors. This would be a Lack of Reason & Independence. Within that religious and political independence other beliefs were Not excluded nor judged for their difference of beliefs. Thomas Jefferson explained it best in his support for religious freedom in practical terms: “It does me no injury for my neighbor to believe in twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”  As it is written in the Constitution: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.  Thomas Jefferson was saying, his neighbors beliefs should not have an effect on him and his house beliefs. As long as we walk with one another in Love and Respect ALL should be able to reside and enjoy the Blessings of Liberty and Justice for ALL.

Let us be reminded of what Does make America Great and choose to LIVE and Love ourselves and Our Neighbors in that greatness. Remember these words of the Declaration of Independence: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism (the exercise of absolute power, especially in a cruel and oppressive way), it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government. The history of the present King of Great Britain (and many other countries) is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

We the People, need to get our heads out of the media and get involved in our communities, our government, and interact with one another in LOVE. We the people Are the majority and just as founding fathers determined “enough is enough” we too need to stand up TOGETHER and Choose a Leader that believes in Democracy, in the foundations of our Great country…that allows US to Lift our Voices, come together, and have a Voice in the direction we are going. If we give our RIGHTS away thru division and lack of involvement we are like sheep in ignorance led astray and will Suffer the consequences of a house that Falls. The rich aiding the rich creating class divisions is not to the advantage of this country. Again no one is perfect but, please open your eyes and ears to hear and choose the Way of Love for ALL mankind. Then Get in the garden and do your part to Restore and Cultivate a harvest that will bear good Fruit for You and Your Neighbor. That Way is the way of LOVE…not Hate, not judgment (leave that to God) and certainly Not division.
